"Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up." Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
- There's strength in number. There are advantages to cooperating with others. Better. Stronger. More effective. God creates us to be in community, hence the Body of Christ. We're not here on earth to serve ourselves, but to serve God and others.
- Don't isolate yourself and try to do life alone. Be a team member. "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." (~African proverb) Life is hard enough; we need one another.
- "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." (Galatians 6:2) Love, help/support, encourage one another, and pray for one another! The Scripture is filled with "one another" verses.
- In Exodus 17, Moses needed help from his friends. While Joshua and the Israelite soldiers battled the Amalekites, Moses held up his staff, representing God's power. The Israelites were winning as long as Moses held up the staff and began losing when Moses dropped his arms in fatigue. Aaron and Hur helped hold his hands up--one on each side. We are friends forever in Christ. Please don't hesitate to let me know how I can help you and pray for you. I shall do the same :).
